Crawler transparency

AISearchOpsAuditBot is identifiable and bounded.

The audit crawler exists only to collect evidence for a user-requested AEO report.

User agent

AISearchOpsAuditBot/0.1 (+https://aisearchops.com/bots)

Behavior

  • Public HTTPS targets only.
  • Robots rules evaluated before eligible page fetches.
  • Manual redirects with DNS and address revalidation.
  • Strict time, byte, redirect, sitemap, and page-count limits.
  • At most 25 representative pages per audit; 10 by default.
  • No authentication bypass, form submission, or remediation writes.

Blocking the crawler

Disallow the AISearchOpsAuditBot token in your robots.txt. The rule is evaluated before any page fetch and the audit reports the pages it was not allowed to read instead of fetching them.

Access problems

The crawler is operated by Tech Family Ventures. To report unexpected traffic, request a slower crawl rate, or ask to be excluded entirely, email office@aisearchops.com and quote the user agent above. Blocking the token in robots.txt takes effect on the next audit without needing to contact anyone.
